3. Linear speed: It is also relatively accurate to define a high-speed motor based on the linear speed of the motor rotor surface. The linear speed is proportional to the product of the speed and the rotor radius, and the rotor radius is also positively related to the motor power. Therefore, the linear speed is actually similar to the meaning expressed by the difficulty value.

4. Bearing DN value: It is also more reasonable to define a high-speed motor by the product of bearing diameter and rotating speed. Like the previous two, a high-power motor has a large load, so it is necessary to select a bearing with larger stiffness, the corresponding bearing diameter is large, and the bearing speed is the motor speed.

The cooling methods of the motor mainly include water cooling and air cooling. When selecting the cooling method, air cooling is preferred. When air cooling cannot meet the demand, water cooling is considered. After all, the air-cooling scheme has a simple structure and low cost.

Air cooling is divided into internal air cooling and external air cooling. The best scheme for internal air cooling is to install a cooling impeller on the rotor shaft, and the impeller blows to the internal stator and rotor of the motor to take away heat through the flowing wind.

External air cooling is hanging a small fan at the end of the motor. The fan blows air to the motor casing, mainly taking away the internal heat through the casing. This way can only heat the stator of the motor, but the heat of the rotor cannot be taken away.
